Basically Kurapika's failure to inform the leader  about his eyes went red while he was on his mission in human town led to  someone spotted him, putting the Kurta village at risk. The Kurta, being nomads, move their village whenever they sense danger. Since the leader was unaware of Pika's incident, they didn't relocate, resulting in unfortunate consequences.😔💔
