 The First Slam Dunk Movie Gets New Trailer, Reveals Main Voice Cast

Cast members announced during the special program includes:

Shugo Nakamura as Ryota Miyagi (point guard)

Jun Kasama as Hisashi Mitsui (shooting guard)

Shinichiro Kamio as Kaede Rukawa (small forward)

Subaru Kimura as Hanamichi Sakuragi (power forward)

Kenta Miyake as Takenori Akagi (team captain and Center)

The opening theme song will be performed by The Birthday, while 10-FEET will perform the ending theme song “Zero Sensation”.

The First Slam Dunk movie will be released in Japan on Dec 3, 2022

Slam Dunk makes its great return in the courts of Japanese theaters in a little over a month, marking the first time since 1995 that the groundbreaking franchise will be on the big screen, and by big, it'll be IMAX sized! The upcoming film announced today that when THE FIRST SLAM DUNK premieres on December 3, it'll be on both regular theater screens as well as IMAX screens. The biggest games need the best screens to watch them on.

Toei’s official YouTube channel started streaming a new trailer for The First Slam Dunk movie on Nov 4, 2022. The trailer was revealed during the The First Slam Dunk Movie special information release program.

The trailer features the Shohoku members in the midst of an intense match.
