What a campaign it has been for our young Filipino athletes at the 3rd Asian Youth Games in Manama, Bahrain! 💪 The Philippines closed out the competition ranked 12th overall with an impressive 7 gold, 7 silver, and 10 bronze medals — a huge leap from our previous outings! From start to finish, the Filipino spirit burned bright on the international stage, showing the world what our youth are capable of when fueled by passion and pride. 🙌
From just 2 medals in 2009 (1 silver, 1 bronze) and 5 in 2013 (2 gold, 3 silver), this 2025 campaign marked a new milestone for the country. Leading the way was Muay Thai, which captured 6 medals (3🥇, 2🥈, 1🥉), followed by strong showings in MMA, Athletics, Jiu-Jitsu, Pencak Silat, Weightlifting, Taekwondo, Swimming, Boxing, and Teqball. Each sport contributed to a unified Filipino effort — proving that teamwork, discipline, and dedication can elevate Philippine sports to new heights. 💥
Every medal, every victory, and every display of grit carried the pride of the nation. These young athletes not only represented their teams but the hopes of an entire country dreaming bigger than ever before. 💫 Mabuhay ang kabataang Pilipino! You’ve made the nation proud — and this incredible showing is just the beginning of even greater victories to come. 🇵🇭💪
